Entrepreneurship week organised at GGI in association with Innovation Mission Punjab
Nov28,2022 | MEENU GALHOTRA |Gulzar Group of Institutes host Entrepreneurship week in association with Innovation Mission Punjab. The IMPunjab is supported by the government of Punjab to flourish the Startup ecosystem in the Punjab state. In the event, total four main sub-events were organized such as Entrepreneurship Awareness Seminar, Idea Pe Charcha, Wild Card Entry and Monthly Innovation Challenge. For the Entrepreneurship Awareness Seminar and workshop were organised for the various students of Computer Science, EEE and Mechanical Engineering. In Idea pe Charcha event, various teams of GGI participated and got entry in Monthly Innovation Challenge. The various external Startup Teams participated in the MonthlyInnovation Challenge including Chandigarh University, Schools teams of Ludhiana,Firozpurand GGI Teams. The Renao Robotics, Startup Team, GGI got the Third position inMonthly Innovation Challenge with 10,000 prize money. The other Winning Startup teams wereEco Ville, Humara Rakshak and Keep Me Awake. The Jury panel consisted of Start-up Founders Upthink, JaggerCane , Academia GGI and Incubation Manager GNE, STEP . In the closing ceremony, Gurkirat Singh, Executive Director, Gulzar Group bestowed trophies and cash prices to the winners of the Monthly Innovation Challenge According to him it is a golden opportunity for the students to connect with the local startup community and further develop the skills that will help propel them into creating successful companies that will even impact the economy of our country.
