Sep7,2022 | MEENU GALHOTRA |PAU VC Releases Peacock Portrait A portrait entitled ‘Peacock of PAU’ photographed by renowned advocate and nature artist, Sh. Harpreet Singh Sandhu, was released by the PAU Vice-Chancellor, Dr Satbir Singh Gosal in his committee room. Dr. M.S. Kang, former Vice-Chancellor, faculty and students were also present on the occasion. Appreciating the work of Sh. Sandhu, Dr Gosal said that photographing birds and animals needs a lot of expertise. Sh. Sandhu is not only doing his work, he is also promoting the university through his work, he added. He informed that Sh. Sandhu had digitized the photograph of Dr T.S. Sutton in the Sutton House to preserve it. Dr M.S. Kang congratulated the artist for his beautiful work and encouraged him to continue exploring his photography skills. Sh. Sandhu explained that when he showed the picture to the worthy VC, he immediately suggested the caption ‘Peacock of PAU.’ He had recently presented the picture to His Excellency, Governor of Punjab, Sh. Banwari Lal Purohit. Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, conducted the programme.
