Dates announced for District Basketball championships for U-14 & U-16 Boys & Girls

This is to inform the basketball sports aspirants that the Ludhiana District Basketball Championships for U-14 & U-16 Boys & Girls are going to be held in last week of this month at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. Under 14 Boys & Girls teams will play on 24th and 25th May, 2023.While Under -16 Boys and Girls will compete on 26th and 27th May,2023.The cut-off date of birth for players for U-14 eligibility will be player born on or after Ist January 2010 while for U-16 category the cut-off date of birth(DOB) for players will be borne on or after Ist January 2007. Birth date will be verified from original certificate for DOB .From these teams players will be selected for U-14 &U-16 categories for Ludhiana Basketball Academy Team, Ludhiana City Team, Ludhiana Rural(Jagraon) Team and for Ludhiana Rural(Khanna) teams for further competing in Punjab Basketball Championships taking place shortly thereafter. Participation fees for each team is rupees 500/- and interested boys and girls teams managers can contact coaches Mr Narinder Kumar (9316906738) and Ms. Saloni(9876594675) respectively .All the players will be given certificate of participation and first 3 categories winning teams will be honoured with medals and trophies on their respective concluding days.
