As many as 34 farmers and farm women attended the five-day training course on the “Preparation of Natural Vinegar from Fruits, Non-Alcoholic Carbonated Beverages and Lacto Fermented Pickle” at the Skill Development Centre of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). Dr Kuldeep Singh, Associate Director (Skill Development), informed that the trainees were provided tips for marketing and availability of loans for value addition and agro-processing. Dr Rupinder Kaur, Course Coordinator, told that agripreneurs were getting economic benefits from the trainings organised at PAU Dr GS Kochar, Head, Department of Microbiology, explained the importance of vinegar making and its use. Dr Keshani, Dr Linika Kashyap, Dr Richa Arora, Dr Gulab Pandove, Dr Naresh Arora, Dr Priya Kaityal, Dr Parampal Sahota, Dr Poonam A Sachdev, Dr Pooja, Dr Ramandeep Jasal, Dr Babita Kumar and Dr Jaspreet Khera, Project Director (ATMA), shared their experiences with the trainees and organised a progressive farmers-entrepreneurs’ interface. Ms Kanwaljit Kaur proposed a vote of thanks.
